Arrest at Harpenden Train Station

A man wanted on recall to prison was arrested at Harpenden train station yesterday (Sun 11 Jan) after a shoplifting incident.

The 46-year-old from London was detained by PCs Jem Oliver and Iffy Iqbal in connection with the theft of £770 worth of goods from Boots on High Street.

He’s been charged with theft and resisting arrest and remanded to appear in court today (Mon 12 Jan).
